Delivered in 2024 and showing only demonstration mileage, Y Yachts Y8 “Calabash” is the latest iteration of the 80‑foot performance cruiser developed by Javier Jaudenes and the YYachts design studio, with a minimalist Scandinavian interior by David Thulstrup. A wider stern, mast stepped well aft and a full‑carbon, epoxy‑sandwich structure give the yacht the stability and sail‑carrying power of a much larger super‑sloop, while keeping displacement below 40 t.
