YYachts
Y8
YYachts Y8 is a 23.99-metre full-carbon sailing yacht designed to deliver a well-balanced combination of performance, ease of handling, and onboard comfort. Developed by Surge Projects (Javier Jaudenes) and built following YYachts’ “Keep it simple” philosophy, the Y8 is conceived for owners who value intuitive sailing with a reduced crew while maintaining high construction standards.
The full-carbon hull provides structural efficiency and weight savings, while the Axxon carbon rig, self-tacking jib, and hydraulic sail handling systems allow for straightforward operation. The telescopic keel (2.80–4.30 m) adds versatility, making the Y8 suitable for both performance-oriented sailing and long-range cruising.
Interior design by David Thulstrup and the YYachts design team focuses on generous volumes and a clean, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic. The standard layout includes three guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms and a separate crew cabin, centred around a spacious and light-filled main saloon that exceeds expectations for an 80-foot yacht.
The YYachts Y8 is a refined semi-custom platform, engineered for frequent use, long passages, and a modern, efficient sailing experience.
